When Is the Best Time to Visit?

The Caribbean is an excellent destination to visit any time of the year. The temperatures are relatively stable, with two seasons, a wet and a dry season. Here is our guide to help you decide.

The peak season is mid-December to Mid-April and an ideal time to visit. This is the dry season with temperatures around 80,6 °F. You will be unlucky if it rains. The cooler temperatures make it a perfect winter sun destination for North America and Europe. It is Jamaica’s busiest period from mid-December, especially for a Christmas and New Year destination. It reflects in the prices. Jamaica is known as the party capital of the Caribbean, as many people come for the lively vibe, and Montego Bay provides the perfect island buzz.

Sandals Royal Caribbean is perfect for escaping the party atmosphere, but it will reflect in flight prices. The shoulder season is mid-April to May and November to mid-December. The lead-up to Christmas is a quiet time so you might find a cheap air flight. The beaches and tourist destinations are uncrowded.

The low season is June to November. July is the hottest, around 91,4 °F, and September to December are the wettest months in Montego Bay. It is a great time to travel to less crowded beaches.
