The Hilton Sandestin Golf Resort & Spa is a luxury hotel in the charming town of Destin, Florida. This resort is right on the beach and has some amazing views. It’s also minutes away from several other fantastic hotels and plenty of restaurants. The best golfers can even walk or drive to championship-caliber courses nearby. But if you’re not an avid golfer, you may want to consider some other options before booking at this location. The rooms are spacious with comfortable beds, but the décor feels somewhat outdated with dated carpets and furniture that could use updating. There are a lot of different activities for adults, but few for kids or teens. The staff is friendly but service levels are inconsistent because it doesn’t have a stand-alone spa or separate tennis club like its competitors nearby do. Read on to learn more about this resort and whether it’s a good fit for your next vacation...

Awards and Recogniton

The Hilton Sandestin Golf Resort & Spa has been recognized as a Forbes Travel Guide Four-Star hotel and an AAA Four-Diamond hotel. The hotel was also named an American Spa Magazine Reader’s Choice Award winner for 2018. The hotel has several on-site dining options, including the Sand Bar, the Beach and Bay Grill, and 24 Hour Fitness Café.

Best season to visit

Any time of year is a good time to visit Destin, but the peak season is from April to October. Be aware that the rainy season occurs from June to August since the Gulf Coast is in the Caribbean Sea hurricane belt.
