The hottest months are May and June, and temperatures can reach 96,8°F, with approximately ten hours of sunshine. They are also the driest months, with May having on average 30 dry days.
The coolest month is January, when temperatures are a comfortable 78,8 F but can go down to 68 F. October is the wettest when 89mm can fall in five days and an average of 384mm over the month. However, an average of 12 hours of sunshine a day and temperatures ranging from 68 °F - 88 °F make for very high humidity.
The low season in The Riviera Maya is May to October. Hottest in May and wettest in October. Prices can decrease by 25%, and there are fewer people around. There is plenty to do, and the water is warm to enjoy watersports.
