Amenities

This hotel offers guests a variety of amenities and activities. Some of the amenities include a 24-hour business center, gift shop, tennis court, fitness center, three restaurants and two bars. As far as activities go, there’s an outdoor jogging track, a swimming pool that’s open from 6 am to 11 pm, a kids’ pool and a large beach. There’s also a large spa that provides a range of services.

The Good

The Hilton Tahiti Resort offers a high level of service and has many amenities. The lagoon is a great place for swimming and snorkeling. It’s also a good spot for kayaking and paddle boarding. The nearby Vai Beach is known for its white sandy beach and is a popular spot for surfing. The resort is located near a shopping center and many restaurants. It’s also just a short walk from a Tahitian village. It’s possible to visit the nearby city of Papeete by bus or car. The hotel has a variety of restaurants that serve both international and Tahitian cuisine. It’s also possible to order room service 24 hours a day. There’s live entertainment at the bars several nights a week.

The Bad

Some guests have reported that they’ve had a few problems with insects at this hotel. This is common in tropical areas during certain times of the year. It’s also possible for there to be construction noise at the nearby village. This usually occurs on Saturday mornings. The hotel offers a shuttle service to the local shopping center. However, it only operates from Monday to Saturday. Guests will have to walk to the shopping area on Sundays.

Getting there

Flying to the Hilton Tahiti Resort is the easiest method of travel. The main airport in Tahiti is located in Papeete. This is a short drive from the resort. Most major airlines fly to Tahiti. The flight from the US mainland to Tahiti takes about 14 hours. The Hilton Tahiti Resort can also be reached by cruise ship. It’s a short walk from the dock to the hotel.

Bottom line

The Hilton Tahiti Resort is a great choice for travelers who value comfort and luxury. However, the average cost per night is USD $350+. This is a high-end, upscale hotel that caters to a well-heeled crowd. Although the property is located near a village, it’s still isolated from the general public. However, there are shuttle vans that run to the nearby shopping area. If you’re looking for a resort that has a tropical setting with an ocean view, then this is a good choice. But keep in mind that you’ll pay a premium for the views and amenities.
